Brad Hays, LPC-S
Nice to Meet You
Meet Brad
Hello, my name is Brad Hays. Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with almost 3 decades of counseling experience. In those years, I have provided counseling in both community mental health and private practice settings, allowing me to work with a vast population of youth and adults alike.
Throughout my career, I have found the rapport that can be developed in the counselor-client relationship to be paramount. I enjoy using a down-to-earth, common-sense sense direct approach and use evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person Centered interventions to help clients navigate the issues bringing them into counseling.
I am dedicated to helping individuals and their families tackle issues including depression, anxiety, grief, substance abuse, addiction, divorce recovery and life transitions. Especially in areas of acute or compounded trauma, I am a good fit for those experiencing distress from ptsd, domestic violence and abuse, childhood abuse and sexual trauma. For those who struggle with regulating emotions and may be experiencing “fall out” from their reactivity (relationship, career or legal), I specialize in anger management and am here to help.
